Managed database services remove servers, not responsibility. This program retrains database administration for the platform era: choosing between Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB by workload, designing high availability and disaster recovery that meets stated objectives, tuning performance with evidence, securing data access, and automating the operations that used to be tickets.
